Coach.
Teammate.
Banker.

That’s Casey.

On the court or in the office, Casey Finlay believes in preparation, teamwork, and showing up when it counts.

Driving success.

As the Market President at Security State Bank in Syracuse, Casey brings the same mindset to his customers that he brings to the high school girls basketball team he coaches. After 8 years as an assistant and now 2 years as head coach, Casey has come to appreciate what truly drives success—knowing your team, communicating clearly, and creating a strategy that plays to people’s strengths.

“Coaching isn’t just about the scoreboard,” Casey says. “It’s about helping each player grow—building confidence, communication, and trust. Those lessons carry over to everything I do.”

Building a Game Plan for Life

That includes his work at the bank.

In his role at Security State Bank, Casey helps families, farmers, and business owners reach their goals. He sees every customer as a teammate—and every financial plan as a playbook designed to get them where they want to go.

“Whether I’m helping someone buy their first home, expand their business, or just get their finances in order, I approach it like I do with my team. We talk it through. We make a plan. We adjust as we go. And we celebrate the wins together.”

Casey’s deep ties to the community make his work even more meaningful. His family, his players, and his customers are often one and the same. That’s why he’s all in—whether he’s coaching a game or walking a customer through a loan.

Rooted in Community

At Security State Bank, it’s not just about financial transactions. It’s about real relationships, smart strategy, and people who show up for each other—on and off the court.
