That’s Tristen.
For Tristen Perry, farming, volunteering, and community banking are all connected by the same belief: when something matters in your community, you show up.
As an Assistant Vice President at Security State Bank in Leoti, Tristen specializes in lending, with a strong focus on agriculture. But his understanding of ag does not come solely from behind a desk.
Tristen is a fourth-generation farmer and rancher, helping with his family operation, Perry Land & Cattle, which grows corn, milo, and wheat and includes a cow-calf operation.
His dad handles much of the day-to-day work, and Tristen helps in the evenings and on weekends. With his grandpa still around and his young son now part of the next generation, Tristen knows firsthand what it means to carry forward something built over time.
Understanding the Decisions that Matter
That lived experience shapes the way Tristen serves customers at the bank.
“Ag is my pride and joy,” Tristen says. “I love being involved in people’s farms and decisions.”
For farm and ranch families, financial decisions are rarely simple. They impact land, livestock, equipment, crops, families, and futures. Because Tristen lives that life too, he understands the weight of those conversations. He knows the long hours, the uncertainty, the pride, and the responsibility that come with agriculture.
Tristen’s commitment to community extends well beyond the farm and the bank. He volunteers with the fire department, serves on the Wichita County Amusement Board, helps with rides at the Wichita County Fair, and is involved with the economic development board.
To him, that kind of involvement is simply part of living in a close-knit community.
“A lot of people came before me to make this place what it is,” Tristen says. “I’m happy to help continue doing whatever is needed to see the community thrive for the next generation.”
